Hilliary Turnipseed
Hilliary Turnipseed is Head of Platform at Kapor Capital, where she builds the systems, networks, and communities that help portfolio companies hire, grow, and raise capital more effectively. She partners closely with founders and the investment team to deliver value beyond capital, from talent strategy and organizational design to high-impact events, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem-building initiatives.
With over 15 years of experience in executive recruiting and people operations, Hilliary has a proven track record of placing senior-level talent across early-stage startups. Her operational background spans program development, event production, and systems management, having built and run the initiatives and infrastructure that give founders a true support system at every stage.
Hilliary received her B.A. from American University and began her career at retained executive search firm DHR International, later supporting recruitment and people operations at Discovery Communications, Black Girls CODE, POLITICO, and Blackboard.
Outside of work, she is a dedicated dog mom to her rescue pup, Bo, and enjoys traveling, cooking, and attending sports events.
